As Montessori educators, we feel so fortunate to have the privilege to work with young people and their families. For over 60 years, CMS has been committed to establishing the intellectual, emotional, and physical foundations that will develop the skills for our students to become self-directed learners, flexible thinkers, creative problem solvers, and support their ever-increasing curiosity about the world.
The goal of a Montessori education, beyond acquiring knowledge, is for the student to build empathy, human connections, philanthropy and an understanding that we are all interconnected and interdependent. This teaching approach embodies collaborative engagement, intrinsic satisfaction and empowers students to do things for themselves while also extending empathy to others. This is a tall order, for sure! We are blessed to have a team of teachers, staff, and Board members, that together with an extended community of families, are unwaveringly committed to our mission and our goals.
I take pride in our commitment to nourishing a positive, safe and caring environment for the entire CMS community. I believe strongly in open communication and partnering with our families and our extended community members, always striving for transparency and excellence.
It is my honor to lead Cambridge Montessori School into the next 60 years. I feel fortunate to be serving a school and a community that is committed to authentic, high quality Montessori education and I invite you to visit and tour our school and experience first-hand what makes our school and community unique and vibrant.
Warmly,
Sue Angelides
