Gala and Auction

The annual Spring Gala & Auction is CMS’s largest and most impactful fundraiser of the year. The success of this event plays a vital role in supporting our programs, enriching student experiences, and sustaining our operating budget.

Beyond its importance, the Gala is one of the most anticipated and enjoyable events in our community calendar. It’s an evening filled with energy and connection—featuring a silent auction, an exciting live auction, exceptional food and drinks, and the chance to gather with families, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends of CMS.

A highlight of the night is our live auction, which showcases one-of-a-kind student-created projects alongside curated items such as getaway packages, exclusive experiences, and unique offerings you won’t find anywhere else.

2026 Gala & Auction: Celebrating 64 Years of Groovin’ at CMS

On Saturday, April 11th, 2026, we proudly hosted our 2026 Annual Gala & Auction at Gran Gusto in Cambridge. The evening brought our community together in celebration of CMS’s legacy, mission, and the vibrant spirit that defines our school.

Thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of our families, sponsors, and supporters, the event was a wonderful success. (Final fundraising total to be added.)

Building on this momentum, our 2025 Gala—held at La Brasa in Somerville—raised over $80,000 in support of CMS.

There are many meaningful ways to support the Gala & Auction. Parents and community members contribute by joining the auction committee, donating or procuring auction items, and helping secure sponsorships to underwrite event costs.
